National Library Week

Celebrate National Library Week April 14-18th at your school library!

"Caught Reading" (All Week)
Students who are found reading anywhere in the building at any time during the week by a library staff member will receive a treat and will have their photo taken.

"Book Worm" (All Week)
Guess how many gummy book worms are in the jar. The student whose guess is closet to the actual number wins a $10 Borders gift certificate and the teacher with the closet guess wins a discount card for local area restaurants. Winner will be announced Friday.

"Amnesty Day" (Tuesday only)
Bring in a can of food for the local food pantry along with your overdue book and your fine will be removed.

"Bookmark Day" (Thursday only)
The first 50 students who check out a library book on Thursday will receive a bronze tiger paw bookmark.

Book Club Field Trip

In celebration of Read Across America Day Book Club members are taking a field trip on Tuesday, March 4th to read to students at Johnson Pre-School. Anyone can join Book Club at any time. See the Book Club link for meeting information and books we are currently reading and discussing.
